Mold Preparation
The molding boxes shaped by pressing are transferred to the casting area via a pushing mechanism along the production line and prepared for pouring. The molten metal, melted and collected in ladles, is carefully poured into these molds. After the casting process, the molds are left to cool for a certain period.
After the cooling process is completed, the molding boxes are directed to the shakeout machine along the production line. At this stage, the molds are broken apart with the support of robotic systems, and the resulting semi-finished products are separated. The obtained castings are then transferred to the shot blasting machines for surface cleaning.
The sand and burrs separated from the molds are cleaned of metal residues using a magnetic separator. The remaining clean sand is redirected to the silos for reuse, completing the cyclical sand preparation process.
